What Is a Guardian Home?

A Guardian Home is a foster family partnership where a cat lives full-time with you as your cherished pet, but remains part of our breeding program until she retires. You don’t pay for the cat , and in return, you allow her to be bred and have litters under our guidance. After her breeding career is complete (usually by age 4–5), she is spayed and ownership is officially transferred to you . She then stays with you forever, fully yours.

What Do You Get?

  • A top-quality purebred Siberian queen with excellent temperament and health.
  • All medical expenses covered by us (routine and emergency care).
  • All supplies for any kittens she raises (litter, food, etc.).
  • Direct support and communication with us throughout the process.
  • A lifetime companion after her breeding years are over.

What Are You Responsible For?

  • Providing a safe, stable, indoor-only home with love and care.
  • Daily needs like food, litter (for the queen), toys, enrichment .
  • Transporting her to us or our vet when needed (or allowing access).
  • Keeping her unaltered (not spayed) until we approve retirement.
  • Not allowing unauthorized breeding or outdoor access.

What Happens When She Has Kittens?

  • She may stay with you during her pregnancy and raise her kittens in your home.
  • Or, she may return to our cattery temporarily to deliver and nurse.
  • Kittens remain our property , and will go to their forever homes around 12 weeks.
  • We’ll provide all supplies for her and the kittens while they’re with you.
  • You’ll never be responsible for finding homes or covering medical costs for the kittens.

What About Spaying and Retirement?

  • She will be spayed by age 5 , or sooner if we mutually decide she’s ready to retire.
  • Once spayed, full ownership is transferred to you .
  • She stays with you as your family cat, no longer part of the breeding program.

Ideal Guardian Home Families:

  • Live within reasonable driving distance of our cattery.
  • Have no other pets at home.
  • Are home regularly and can offer attention, stimulation, and affection.
  • Are responsible, communicative, and willing to follow our care standards.
  • Want a forever cat, even if the first few years come with some extra involvement.
